For those of us who have real jobs that don't allow for daily 7 mile backpacking adventures, the Terramar liner is for us. I love to backpack for miles and long weekends but can only do it couple times a year. There in lies the problem, my feet are soft. These liners with a good pair of wool socks will help prevent Texas size blisters on your feet. Right up to the point of getting wet due to rain, snow, sweat or a poor creek crossing. Then you still have to change them. It's good to have two pair, one to wear while the other dries. They are good to have. They save your feet!
