Comments about Therm-A-Rest NeoAir Trekker Mattress:

I'm 6 foot tall and 217 lbs.. When I lay on the short 47" pad, because my legs are lower than rest of body....it kills my back. The longer pads are fine, but too narrow - 20". A person my size needs 25" wide and 77" long.

Comments about Therm-A-Rest NeoAir Trekker Mattress:

      Hi, there.

Therm-A-Rest NeoAir Trekker Mattress is lightweight for backpacking like me, that's the 1st reason why I chose it.

By the way, if you're sensitive to even a little noise when sleeping, I'll recommend another alternative, 'NeoAir All Season Mattress', although somewhat heavier than Trekker.

But its noise can be decreased by all-covering, skin-comforting sheet like 'Therm-A-Rest Fitted Sheet'.

As for me, I don't care its noise, it would be different for each person.

Thanks for reading this article, Good luck to you!

Comments about Therm-A-Rest NeoAir Trekker Mattress:

I've thoroughly enjoyed this mattress. I considered the Exped SynMat UL 7 but just couldn't justify the extra expense when comparing features / specs. This pad takes a minimal amount of space in my pack, is light to carry, and is comfortable to sleep on. The fact that it has to be inflated is only an issue when you're at higher elevations but even then, it doesn't take too much effort. I'm pleased with my purchase.
