Comments about Therm-A-Rest NeoAir All Season Mattress:

Needed an upgraded Thermarest mattress for a bike tour, as the Neo air mattress are the standard now I decided to upgrade. I got the large all season because it seemed like a do it all matress. I dont backpack a lot so went with a large rectangular version instead of the tapered regular sized version.

The stuff sack and provided patch kit is nice, but as suggested somewhere else you probably have to invest in a better Theramrest inflation bag if you use this for winter use, the provided stuff sack wont cut it.

For summer camping blowing it up like a matress should be fine. I am glad I got a large, sure you save weight with a regular size or tapered cut version, but this is so light and packs so small, I cant see why I would sacrafice comfort for a few less onces. Especially on a bike tour.

This is much noisier than a standard Thermarest matress, every movement makes noise. You could get a comfort cover and create a versitle base camp setup, but it would still be noisey. I guess that is the price you pay for such a light and small pad that inflates to a massive 2.5" of comfort.

One less star for the cost, but a great air matress that will work in a ton of different scenerios.
