Comments about Silva Wrist Band Compass:

I purchased this product to use on my wrist while canoeing. The problem I had is slide mount on this compass will not accomodate most sport watch wrist bands. The specs give you the max width (11/16" or 18MM), as far as how wide the watch band can be and that dimension is very good. What you are not given in the specs is a min and max thickness of watch band that the compass will slide on to and hold. In my case I tryed this on five (5) differnt watch bands and all were too thick. The compass will not slide on to any of my watch bands. The slot is simply too thin. As such I was unable to use this this product at all so I wasted my money.
