Comments about Silva Tech4o Data Center II:

Instruction manual is full of innacuracies - following the directions rarekt brings desired results; some faetures=nearly impossible to properly activate ot figure out on your own without manual: in particular, calibrating the compass and setting temp to Fahrenheit. Product may well go back in favor of 2 or 3 others that together do the same things but are easier to set up and use.

Comments about Silva Tech4o Data Center II:

I removed the neck rope and hook mine to my backpack shoulder strap, the little strap it comes with that hooks it on has no less than 8 places where it can fail in the field, I used a little lanyard I had from a digital camera to give it a backup connection, remember 2 is 1 and 1 is 0...also, keep the instruction booklet handy
