Tested in some of the heartiest down pours the world has to offer, the "Sea Somb" is a rainy day classic. The shell offers waterproof protection and the brushed lining manages perspiration. The shaped brim directs water away from your head when it's gushing.

- Cinch-Band internal adjustment system
- Easy sizing of the internal headband to accommodate a liner or to simply tightenthe fit to keep the hat on in the wind.
- Allows the outer shell to be held away from the head a bit, maintaining air flowand therefore greater comfort and vapor exhaust through the Gore-Tex membrane.
- 1-inch wide elastic in headband.
- A two-inch length of elastic in the Cinch-Band increases comfort at the band bystretching a small distance.
- Foam-stiffened brim.
- In addition to the obvious structure benefits of foam in the brim, it also allows this hat to float if blown overboard.
- Hook and loop tabs on crown and brim.
- Brim can be fastened on one side of crown or both when greater visibility, ventilation, or style is needed.
- Brushed tricot lining.
- Spreads perspiration rapidly over its surface to aid in more rapid exhaust of vapor through the Gore-Tex crown.
