Comments about The North Face Rock 22 Tent - 2008 Model:

The first night out with this tent we got a good thunderstorm that came in and lasted about 45 minutes. I stayed dry and so did the floor. I did put some camp dry on the tent, fly and footprint because they did hold water a bit on the outside. This tent has a great layer of sealer on the inside of all three pieces and has the seams taped, it just needed some help on the outside. The tent stakes that came with this tent are junk so plan on replacing them, I used gutter nails.

Comments about The North Face Rock 22 Tent - 2008 Model:

I got this tent on sale with a footprint for [$]. The local store wanted [$] before tax for just the tent. The stakes are total junk, so plan on buying a new set. I am planning on getting the Groundhog tent stakes.

Comments about The North Face Rock 22 Tent - 2008 Model:

I bought this tent locally at an end-of-season clearance. It's a great little tent - takes very little time to set up, even in the dark. It's a very small tent, good for 1 person on a camping mat (Thermarest). With the rainfly off, it is great for warm nights. For colder nights with the rainfly on, the tent stays warm enough to not zip up my sleeping bag.
