Comments about The North Face Terra 35 Backpack:

The bag is sleek looking and is very rugged and comfortable. It's a nice minimalist bag, but if you're looking for more capacity, I suggest the Terra 45 and higher. You can't beat the price on SunnySports.

My son uses the pack for Boy Scouts. They are preparing for a 50 mile weekend hike. It is perfect for his use.

Comments about The North Face Terra 35 Backpack:

Make sure that the Backpack you select is fitted for you. If you are a small person, then you cannot carry a 65 liter pack. I am 5'3 and weight 105 pounds and 35 liter pack is enough. Be sure to load the pack based on your size as well. Try to keep it around 20% of your weight, therefore, purchase 1.5 pound sleeping bag, 3 pound tent, including poles and stakes, sleeping pad 1.5 pounds, etc. Try to keep all item in the pack. In my case, having item hanging created a problem.

Comments about The North Face Terra 35 Backpack:

Used on a couple of overnighters. Was comfortable. Carried tent and sleeping pad on outside. I like the strap setup on my Vaude better for carrying gear outside the bag, just easier to use. I bought my pack here for [$] (closeout color.) If spending much over $100 I would go with the Terra 40 or 45 for more room.
