        This is a nice waistpack, just the right size for day trips, with lots of pockets and adjustments. I use it for day trips hiking and for day long outings in dog parks with my two skijoring dogs. I can fit their leashes, snacks and water in the various pockets and have room to stuff my jacket and gloves, if needed. I haven't used it skiing with them yet, but it should be just the right size for that. It stays in place and doesn't rotate around my waist unless I pull it around front for access. The only minus so far is the waist straps are hard to cinch and loosen every time I remove the pack.
