Comments about The North Face Cat's Meow 20F Synthetic Women's Sleeping Bag - Regular Size:

After much research & consideration, I purchased this sleeping bag for my 2012 AT thru-hike. My biggest decision was deciding between down or synthetic, but decided to go synthetic. This bag served me really well. I'd read one of the cons was that it doesn't stuff down that small, which is true, but I found that many cold weather bags don't get that small either. I bought a Sea-to-Summit compression sack, that really helped shrink it down to fit in my Osprey Aura pack. I'm very cold-natured and found that some nights in the 20s, I was cold but I survived. I switched to a Mountain Hardware Phatom 45 down bag during the hot summer months, but was glad to have my Cat's Meow back when I hit New Hampshire. The bag was very durable and never got the terrible stink that synthetic bags tend to get - and I only washed it once on my hike. A few times it did get wet - terrible rainstorm in Maine, but it still kept me warm and then dried out very quickly in the sun. I was very pleased with this bag!

Comments about The North Face Cat's Meow 20F Synthetic Women's Sleeping Bag - Regular Size:

I have only used this about 4 times in warm weather so far- it's extremely warm and comfortable, but packed larger than I thought it would. It' still pretty light, though.
