Comments about Mountainsmith Carbonlite Pro Trekking Poles (pair):

This is my first pair of trekking poles so I've not much to compare them to. However, at 6'4", 236lbs I used these poles on a 5 mile trek that ascended 1100 feet while carrying 43 lbs in my pack. The poles made a world of difference as they helped put my arms into the effort and made the overall hike much more efficient.

Just got back from a week long excursion in Washington State and these really held up on some steep slopes and made the hike much more enjoyable and helped across some small snowfields
