I've worn this cap on a hike in some pretty heavy rain, and it kept my head dry, plus the bill is large enough to block the rain from my face, too! Though it is one size fits all, its not as deep as some others I've worn. This just gives it a more snug/close to your head fit(which I like), and it is fully adjustable in the back, so it will still fit a larger noggin. I love that it looks like a baseball cap, so this makes it very versatile. It works great under my waterproof hood that isn't long enough alone to protect my face from windy rainy weather. Great buy!
