After much research I bought three of these coats this year for myself (50) and daughters (28, 24) We were tired of having cold thighs and behinds and loved the diagonal stitching as opposed to other brands "puffy squares". Both the dark steel gray and the black are beautiful!

i had to search far and wide online to find this coat in the right color/size. if you live in a northern state and walk regularly, a coat like this is a must. i like the montreaux because it's warm, attractive/shapely enough (you can only do so much with a puffy coat), has fleece lined zippered pockets, almost reaches my knees so i can stay warm in dresses/boots, has a hood with removable fur, and has the quality/warranty of marmot. i am 120 / 32A / 5'6" and the small fits exactly right over a sweater and light scarf.

the zipper stuck a bit the first time i used it but that seems to have fixed itself. also i accidentally pulled the hood out a couple times because it's attached by velcro a little awkwardly. annoying but not a big deal.

i've been using it now for a week through weather in the single digits and low teens and through snow storms. it has been performing great!

This coat is really warm. With the hood up, this is a very cozy coat, I never feel the cold. I normally wear a size small, but in this coat I needed a medium because of the chest/shoulder area being a tad too tight in the small, so size up if you want a perfect fit.

I am a size 6 and almost always wear a small. This coat was very tight across the chest in small so I ordered a medium. A little bulky on the bottom half but it keeps me very warm. No feathers escaping, quality is excellent.
