This might work for someone with LONG legs, but not for me. The inseam is over 12 inches, the fabric is 'corse' and the end of the leg 'catches' the inside of the area/joint opposite the knee, causing an uncomfortable rubbing.
I returned the item.

    these shorts are great. im loving the durability of them. the fact that they stretch to make them easy to move in while climbing. the fit is perfect. the waterproofing is not really needed for shorts, but still always a plus that it comes with it anyway. the zippers are holding on strong. and they did not shrink in the wash. the price for them is not bad as well considering these shorts are going to last forever! i use these shorts for hiking, climbing, and casual wear. they are a great all around short.
