It looks to be well made. I will not be unduly rough as a wilderness hiker would be.

Comments about Kelty Shrike 32 Daypack:

I really like this pack. It holds a 3L hydration . Big plus for Floridians hiking in summer. It has ample storage and is more than sufficient for day hikes. I find the pack is very comfortable for a man of 6ft 300lbs this pack fits me very nicely. I have taken it on canoe trips ,hikes in Florida trails and the amusment parks. It held up very nicely. If your looking for a good sturdy organized pack get the kelty brand you can't go wrong. Buy it here its the best price around really mean it I searched every were and couldn't beat the price.:)
