      I purchased two of these bags last year for my son (11) and myself before a trip to Yellowstone and they performed perfectly. Temps reached the low 30's each night we were there and we slept very comfortably in these bags (unlike my prior trip to Yellowstone as a kid where I froze every night). I appreciated how easy they were to pack into their stuff sacks when it was time to leave too.

      I am 5'6" so right at the upper range of the bag height and I found my bag fit very comfortably with plenty of room to move around.

            I just recently got the bag and have had it out down to 34 degrees and felt incredibly warm. The size is perfect. I would say you could go up to 5'4 in the short and be comfortable.

            Only down side is the stuff sack. Not too terribly large but i probably will be going out to get a compression sack for longer trips.
