I bought this boot as an inexpensive backpacking boot for a two-week trip. The boot broke-in quickly, but there were problems with the gussets around the tongue bunching-up and causing pressure. Had to be careful when lacing the boots. The only other negative was with sizing, which was large. I had finally ended up with a 1/2 size smaller than normal.
Good points: high quality for the price, waterproofing was excellent, and very durable over rough terrain, no rips or tears and very good ankle support. Easy to wear day after day, after initial break-in.

    I had a pair that were a few years old and I wanted to get another pair because they are such a great fit for my wide feet. I wear them in winter when it snows here in Denver and when I go dove, pheasant, and antelope hunting in S. Dakota. Waterproof, durable, lightweight, and subperb traction make this a really nice pair of boots.
