If you are looking for a combination lantern/flashlight you can look no more, give this one a try!

I bought it initially as a supplement to my family car-camping outfit, for youngest son to have his own lamp. I own a few Eureka! products and all are good or great.

It is now used almost excusively as my "go to light" around the house. It works great while camping, being able to have 1 unit that does both functions well (more on this in a moment) is fantastic.

There is a dial/knob on the side that lets you rotate the reflector housing and switch between modes. You can get it "just right" and adjust where it throws the light if you stop in between modes.

It works great as a lantern, you can hang it upside down with an included lanyard, the lamp itself has a fold-out J hook. This works well inside a tent, from a tree branch, etc..

Good as a flashlight, considering the price and multifunctionality. Of course an equally priced LED flashlight is going to be better at that function alone. The throw is a little weird, hard to describe but has some zones to it.

Very, very adequate product, it has now served on many camping trips, a few power outages, some car maintenance, searching for a lost dog - the list could go on. I have given a few away as gifts to family and would recommend without hesitation!
