        These socks are comfortable, durable (that's really important for me) and will keep you warm. They also dry pretty quickly for a heavy sock.

        That said manage your expectations. During sub-zero weather in Iceland there was only so long I could stay outdoors before my toes started feeling the bite. If you're going out under those conditions get a thinner liner sock. Multiple layers will always beat one thick layer.
