Comments about Coleman Rugged Rechargeable Full-Size Lantern:

Bought this lantern several years ago for family weekend camping. I find it to be much easier to use than a fuel or regular battery lantern, it seems lighter in weight, and it doesn't generate noticeable heat.

My favorite feature is that the charging cables store in the bottom of the unit.

We have used the lantern for 3-day camping weekends without having to recharge.

Two brightness options plus a night-lite mode allow conservation of power for longer use. The brightest option gives off a whiter light than a fuel lantern but it is probably not as bright. Light was sufficient for reading and playing cards around a table with the light hanging off to one side. I think a fuel lantern would be better in foggy conditions.
