I use this as a poncho or a blanket. It is very warm, keeps you totally dry, is long enough to cover most of my legs, and has an inside large pocket area-great for wallet/cell phone/gloves, etc. I LOVE IT. I bought these to replace one I have lost. The downside is the hood. It will keep you dry once you get it arranged, but is a pain to arrange.

This is a must have for sporting events. It keeps you dry, blocks the wind and keeps you warm. Large size means you can share it. Three of us have used it at once.
