This pack is perfect for day hikes/traveling through the airport. I used this pack recently on a 12 mile hike at Glacier National Park - it held the perfect amount of water, snacks, first aid items, etc. and I barely felt it on my back. Very cute style too! Love the poppy red. Best ladies pack ever!

I bought this because my day and a half pack was much too large for short day hikes. I wanted something smaller with pockets for extra layers and my camera. I live in the desert, so the 3L hydration pack was important.

I like that it's so compact. It feels well-balanced with whatever I pack in it. It also holds a surprising amount of layers (I had a shell and a vest in it, along with some other stuff).

One issue that I'm having is that I have a long torso and the pack feels a bit short on my back. I'm also used to a big day and a half pack, so it may just require some getting used to or I may need to play with the straps some more.

Overall, I'm very pleased with the pack.

I love this Camelbak. My previous Camelbak was smaller and I found myself stuffing things into the pockets. The LUXE not only has plenty of pockets and a bigger bladder, but it is still lightweight!

I use the it for hikes with the dogs. They can share in the water because of the hose I can just squirt water out...they love it and I only have to bring one camelbak instead of carrying water bottles for the dogs.

This Camelbak is designed specifically for smaller women and fits like a glove. It carries a ton of water and has enough pouches and pockets to bring food and extra layers. Love it!
