You get what you buy!

Comments about Coghlan's Backpacker's Trowel:
A really nice, cheap trowel that gives you what you bought it for. Diggin' it! You can definitely get better trowels (different brands, metal digger, etc), but this works well enough and it's easy to clean.

About Me Casual/ Recreational
Was a little surprised at its size but still fits in my pack well and is fairly light weight. Very sturdy.

Tough, light, and no fragile pieces, which makes it a breeze to break through harder ground.

Lightweight Bargain Basement Sanitation
By seekonk

This packs easily & will dig a shallow cat hole in forest duff or loose mud.I haven't chanced it in clay/hard pan or to cut through turf in grasslands/meadows. For a long trip with exacting sanitation requirements, I would carry a metal trowel or at least an MSR snow stake.
Light and Sturdy!

This little trowel is surprisingly strong for its light weight.
