Comments about Black Diamond Super Slacker Rope Bag:

I use this bag to carry my Mammut rope to the crag and as a rope tarp at the wall. I don't like to store biners and other metal with my rope, so there is always a huge amount of extra space. The bag is roomy, so if you do want to put other things in it you'll have the space to do so. Without two shoulder straps, however, I wouldn't want to put a too much weight in it or it could get pretty uncomfortable.

The one thing I would change is to have it form a little more of a bag...the tarp folds in half, zips, then has a drawstring at each end, but it's never really truly sealed. Very minor, as I only use it for rope and that will never slip out.

Bottom line, the bag is really great for carrying rope to a sport crag, keeping it clean and safe on the way there, and forms a spacious tarp to flake off of and spread gear.
