I use these more than any gloves I brought on my Denali trip. They sheds snow well and dries quickly, keeps hands pretty warm for how light gloves they are. The new material seems to last better than the older ones but the cons are that older model had the leather extended to the tip of fingers that gripped the bottles and other things better. These new ones are slippery to grab Nalgene bottles.
