I have never owned poles before and was not sure what to expect. These are very easy to set up, tear down and adjust and much stronger than thought esp since they are so lightweight. I used them for several miles while walking on pavement and then for a few miles to climb a very icy, snowy mountain with snow melted streams and they helped me from falling with my heavy pack many times. The hand grips are comfortable with an adjustable wrist band that state left and right hand use. The elastic inside is adjustable and it is easy to tell when it needs to be done. They come with a rubber tip and include a metal tip. I highly recommend these poles. I am a happy customer.

I have been traveling overseas to hiking destinations. I wanted a pole that would collapse down to the shortest possible length and fit into my pack, and then be safe to go into the cargo hold of a plane. These have worked very well. The grips are just okay, and the straps are a bit stiff, but otherwise they are a great travel hiking pole.
