Comments about Black Diamond Contour Elliptic Poles (pair):

Over the years I've owned several models that didn't have ellipitical shafts. I prefer the stifness and strength of the ellipitical shafts. They also seem to transfer much less of the shock and vibration through the shaft when you plant it. The flicklocks are quicker and easier to adjust than the locking mechanisms that require constant twisting and turning.
