Hello I was wondering if I should order a small or medium? I am a female, 5.5 ft weigh 133 lbs and my head tends to be close to a size 6.5 - not big at all. Not sure how snug a small would be. Any suggestions? I read the one review which was from a female and she ordered a small.

I would err more to the smaller side as i want mine tight . It has been forever since I ordered mine and I really dont remember how it fit. Dave

I'd order whichever size most closely correlates to your hat size. OR seems to be pretty spot on with their sizes. I usually wear a 7.25 to a 7.3/8 and the large fits me perfectly. Because its windproof, that balaclava isn't as stretchy as a thinner plain cloth one, it's really about as stretchy as a wetsuit. Good thing is, get the right size and you'll never have to get another one. Low profile, very comfortable, and very warm.

I am a 5'4", 120 lb male. I purchased the medium. It fits OK, but leaves a bit of a gap near my eyes, This balaclava doesn't come down very far on the forehead compared to others.
You might want to try the Small.
