Comments about Outdoor Research Lightweight Pack Cover:
I just returned from a 5 day hiking trip where it rained everyday except one. This cover turned out to be durable in spite of my preconceived notions. it kept my pack, bedroll and gear dry the entire time. I wish it had a hood or completely enclosed the pack's back side. If you are not careful water can run between your back and your pack getting your gear wet.
