MICHAEL S I have those gloves- I bought them in January of 2010- I assume they are the older one. For what it is worth they have held up well over the last year.

CHRISTOPHER C The ones I received are black (the leather portion is more like a charcoal black and the synthetic material is black), not grey/black like pictured. Great glove, only thing is I was under the impression that the leather was going to be a little more rugged like a work glove. I mean they will definitely hold up under mild abrasion use but I wouldn't use them as a work glove, go purchase a pair at the hardware store for that use.

ROBERT S The pair that I got were exactly as pictured. I used them all last season and they packed out a little, but overall they worked great. They resist water well, not terribly sweaty inside, and keep you warm down to about 20F
