The Outdoor Research Aria Hoody for Women is a delightful jacket to have on all your outdoor adventures. Its 650+ fill down insulation is placed in a swirled quilt construction to help keep the down in its place and to offer exceptional warmth when it s cold outside. There is a front zipper which features an interior draft flap to help keep out the water if you re ever caught in the rain. A dual hem drawcord and elastic cuffs seal out cold drafts and help you cut wind chills. It is also available in many lightweight (Small: 0.85 lbs., Medium, X-Small: 0.9 lbs., Large: 1 lbs.) sizes so you can choose the one that fits you best. Shopper  Does this have hood? I think there are two kinds. One with real hood, another is smaller hood??
JUDY O  It does have a hood that provides good coverage and protection from the wind. It is a great, versatile jacket.

CASSANDRA B  Hi! Yes it has a hood. The hood is continuous with the jacket, so the same thickness and warmth. It also has the pulley cords so you can pull it tight around your face. I think this is a great jacket! surprisingly warm for how lightweight it is

JENNY R  Yes, there is a hood. But I don't recommend this jacket as the small runs too small and the medium runs way too big...it's an odd fit and unfortunate since it's such a cute jacket. the down feathers also start coming out as soon as you put it on.

JENNY R  I chose this jacket primarily for my job (field work in both the front and backcountry), and for style. I really loved the colors and it definitely met my standards for warmth and weight. Unfortunately, I returned it because the sizing was awkward for me. I first ordered a small and the torso was too short so I exchanged it for a medium which was huge! I'm really disappointed as I liked all other characteristics of the jacket. I wish the fit was better for me.
