Kurt V Does this fit the size and weight requirments for airlines as luggage?
EMMA L you have to pay extra because the size exceeds the size limits. whether there is a weight penalty depends on how much you put in it
ALLEN H it is 61.5 linear inches (31.5x16x14").
should be allowed but check your airline for their specific rules.
JORGE B It fits the size rquirements with no problem.
Weight would be dependent on what you fill the bag with.
But if you fill the bag just with nomral cloth and gear it will be OK.
The bag is great! Very resitant and weather proof, I highly recomend it.
THOMAS R I'm not sure I entirely understand the question, this item needs to checked and is not a carry-on piece. However there are no extra charges for its size, assuming you do not go over the weight restriction. I used last for a week long Mexico trip and it was perfect for that application. Hope this helps.
LEE K If you are buying the large one expect to exceed 50 lbs easily. I have to make an effort to pack "light" in a large bag.
STEVE T This is not the bag I bought, so I can't answer your question, sorry
JEFF B "The quick answer is yes. However, check airline on which you'd be flying. For example, Alaska Airlines has the following luggage policy; ?Maximum Dimensions: 62 linear inches/157 cm (length + width + height) ?Maximum Weight: 50 lb/23 kg The medium bag is 54 linear inches. We checked this bag and it weighed in at almost exactly 50 lbs without going over. This is a VERY NICE bag. Excellent quality. Sturdy handle. You should be able to get lots of use out ot it."

DAVID G Ask the airline to make sure. As far as weight goes it will probably be over-weight after it's packed since the bag is 15lbs. empty (i think). You can buy one of those baggage scales to know for sure. You have to pack it carefully to keep it below the weight standard. Otherwise, it's a very durable bag which is why I bought it. Plus it has wheels, but no extending handle. Just a fixed handle.
JASON C Yes. As checked luggage. Not carry-on. I have traveled by air numerous times with this bag. Awesome bag!
WILLIAM S We have flown from east coast to west coast and back with no issues. Love the bag!
