Is this too big for just passports and cash? What are the dimensions

For passports and cash?
Yes.
Our boy scout Troop uses them for the boys to pack their '10 essentials'
(maglight, personal first aid kit, matches, compass, cordage, etc.). For that, they are perfect for a dayhike outing.
ALISHA H
Yes. Don't have it right in front of me, but I can fit my wallet, sunglasses, cell phone, etc. with room to spare. I would look for something smaller.

If you are only looking to carry passports and cash, I would opt for a security belt instead (something flat)—this has more depth than you would need—a depth of about 3.5".

how big is this? I don't see measurement (in inches) on specs page. I need it for a first aid kit.

I bought it for a gift so don't have the exact measurements for you. If I had to guess approx 9 to 10-inch wide. But its plenty big enough for a first aid kit, its roomy.

It is about 11" wide, 7" tall, and about 4" deep. I always seem to be able to fit everything I need in this bag, and it never feels too big/bulky. It has been over a year since I purchased this and it is definitely still one of my most practical purchases of all time! Would be GREAT as a first aid kit.
