This is a great backpack for the weight. It is loaded with feature you would typlically only find on a "real" backpack. Exceptionally lighweight yet spacious, and compresses down and zips into it's own pocket for easy storage/packing. I bought it to use as an emergency/go pack to keep in my car in case of emergencies. Fully loaded, it is too heavy to comfortably carry for very long or far (one would want a frame pack in those scenarios). But it works great for my purposes.
