I take it to NY City as my only luggage ? hands-free, suitcase-free, fully mobile travel. I've had zero problems with the pack and it's ?ber comfortable even after 8 hrs with a 25-lb load.

SEUNG S Looks like the exact same model I have, the only thing I see different is where the model name is located. Mine is written alon the bottom panel as this one is written on the side. Great pack and it fits my 17" MacBook pro with case in the laptop compartment. Big thumbs up for a great pack.

ANDREW R This bag is great! I use it mostly for school. However it is not 100% waterproof, but I believe it would shed a lot of water in a downpour thanks to its tough material. Its a good buy!

RICK N Not a dedicated purpose built slot. But there are pockets that would work.

CLAIRE G Only if you have it in a pocket that is zipped and let the cord hang out from one edge of the zipper. There's no spot for the cord to slide through like some of the other North Face bags.

The Box Shot has two large pockets on either side of pack on the outside can fit water bottles, etc. the inside has various sized small slots , a zipped large pocket, a large velcro pocket and actually has a cushioned slot for a cell phone which fits my blackberry and holds in it so it doesn't fall out. Hope this helps. Love this pack by the way :)

PHILIP W It doesn't have a specific opening/hole for headphone cables, but there are pockets in the outer compartment that would hold an iPod with cables coming out the zipper. I wouldn't let that stop you from getting the pack because it is absolutely great otherwise. I am super happy with mine and I plan on using it for the next 5-9 years as it is very sturdy and has a timeless style that will last a long time. It makes me happy that nobody I've seen has a North Face pack like this one because it is slightly more pricey and not available in many stores.

NELSON B There is no internal to external audio line hole/slit, if that's what you mean... There is a pouch in the front that looks to be able to hold either a cell phone, or an mp3 device, judging by it's dimensions, but not allowing external access. I think the reason for this non-external access in, is the water restiveness. The pack is pretty well sealed, to not allow water to get in, as it carries a laptop, which is why I bought the thing. Good support for a laptop device, if you were wondering... So, as to be able to keep things inside from getting wet, I'm sure the designer decided not to add a feature like that. Hope that helps.

RAHUL P Not specifically, but the backpack does have stash pockets on the side that could be used. Also, there is a space in the outer section that has a place to store an ipod, or you could put it in the sleeve where the laptop goes.
