I bought this coat to wear to Chicago, and the weather did not disappoint. It was in the single digits or below during my stay. So glad to have this coat. It is lightweight but oh so warm! The cold winds blew and I was still warm. I wanted the longer coat for the extreme cold, and was pleased. Love the color as well. You can't beat North Face for quality. Sturdy zipper which is easy to open and close from top or bottom. Sleeve length perfect for my 5 ft 9 inch height. Love this coat!

This coat is great! I live in VA where it's great for colder days and it keeps me pretty warm even in colder places like upstate NY. I purchased the heather navy color and I love it! I am 5'0" and weigh 100 lbs. I bought the small instead of the extra small because I am always cold and need to wear a lot of layers. The small lets me comfortably wear a sweater and a soft-shell underneath. The small comes to my mid-calves.

I would say it is slightly fitted, the coat gathers slightly at waist to give a flattering fit unlike other parkas that make you look bigger than what you are. I am normally a medium but went with large, to be able to wear thicker sweaters comfortably and am very happy with the fit

I would say yes. I ordered and XS and it fits perfect. Could be a bit tight if I gained weight. I am 4'10" and weigh 115. Love the jacket.

Hi Jacki,
I am about 5'3, it hits about mid thigh on me. The parka will cover your lower body and bottom, I prefer when it is below freezing outside like today. If you want it to be at hip length, this will be longer. Hope I answered your question. Good luck.

No it wouldn't. I'm the same height and it hits me right above the knee I would recommend going up a size since it runs a little small. I love this coat . It is very warm and I've gotten many compliments on it.

Not at all especially if you are looking for a nice, long coat for the winter wind! I'm 5'6 and it comes down to just at or below my knees. It will be fine and keep your legs very warm!
