The handle is well built and the entire piece is well designed. Perfect for my travels.
Great luggage choice

First, I'm biased when it comes to North Face but I'm also critical of design and function. This luggage is awesome which is probably an understatement. I was able to fit a rolled sleeping bag (by NF), clothes for a week, 2 pairs of additional shoes, my medic bag (which I always travel with). Though it's a mid-sized luggage, it fits a lot of stuff. I'd highly recommend this product. To add, this is my first time ordering from Sunny Sports. Looks like this is my one stop shop now. Great servic...e. Fast.
Wherever your travels take you, you need a reliable, large duffel for those multi-day trips, and The North Face Longhaul 26 Duffel is the answer to your packing woes. Featuring a lightweight, durable design, The North Face Longhaul 26 Duffel holds 67 liters worth of clothing for a week or gear when you're traveling to far away mountain ranges. The large U-zip main compartment opens completely wide for easy packing, and there's an internal mesh zippered pocket in the secondary compartment for packing your other gear. Two external zippered compartments make it easy to pack things you'll need quick access to, and when it's time to leave, the padded handles on the side, top, and bottom make it easy to grab your Longhaul 26 Duffel and go. To save wear on your back, the telescoping luggage handle has unique side-release buttons that make it easy to pull, and the custom wheels and wheel housings are extra durable to handle any kind of terrain. For even more durability, the Longhaul 26 Duffel feature embossed material combined with coated material at key wear points, and the perforated, exposed back panel reduces weight without sacrificing durability.

This bag does not have side compression straps but does have side handles.

does this quality to take it as carry on luggage?
ADAM T
The quality is excellent, however it's huge. The dimensions are interior, it stands almost 30 inches tall. I've never seen an overhead compartment that could accommodate it.

This particular model is too big to qualify as a carry on but there is a smaller model that works perfect as a carry on (we have that one too).

I never have carried-on the 26, I have a 21 that I use as carry-on but TNF stopped making the 21 in this style, to my dismay. Great bags for my taste anyway, that my spill

Never tried but I think it's a bit big for that.
SUSANNE C
I am afraid this would be to large for that .

I'm almost certain it will not pass as carry on. It's actually the largest piece of luggage I own. It's a very good item, but I only use it when I need to haul a lot of gear with me.

too big for carry -on

I'm trying to decide what to get. Why did you pick this one?
ANTHONY W
i had one already and got a second for the family. Bag travels great, can hold a ton and is fairly light for a wheeled bag that size. Plenty of pockets as well for smaller items. Durable and well worth the spend

I used it for trip to china huge bag tough only used once but held up well.

For me and my wife this is the perfect size bag for air travel - both for short domestic flights and for overseas. On extended trips we will take two on shorter trips one is big enough for 5-7 days worth of clothing for both of us. I particularly like the secure strap system and rugged build. Have taken ours on month long trips to Asia logging up to 17 flights in one trip and to Europe. We also use them on road trips. I love these bags.
