ALICIA M I bought the jacket for a trip to NYC in January. It was snowing, raining, and very cold. I would recommend this jacket. It has a nice inner layer for warmth and North Face is the only jacket I wear for snowboarding.

KAREN M I went snow tubing at the beginning of February and the coat was perfect. Kept me very warm, but was not big and bulky. I love the coat.

LISA C It's a great jacket! It's waterproof she'll and zip out fleece work perfect together or apart. It would definitely be warm enough for skiing.

CRAIG V It was actually purchased for my daughter. We live in northern WI, and she has worn it all winter without a problem. Not sure on the actual temp. rating, but it gets quite cold up here. Hope that helps.

KELLY S With the fleece zipped in, it is a warm winter coat. The outer shell by itself could work as a rain jacket. And I've enjoyed wearing the fleece alone on mild/cool days.

PATRICIA F I bought this jacket for the winter and it is really warm. I've worn it in 20 degree temperatures and I was still warm. I also like the jacket because you can unzip it and use just the fleece if it a little warmer out or the shell. I would order a size up though, especially if you plan on wearing hoodies or a thick sweater underneath. I'm 5'3'' and 125 lbs and I needed a medium for this jacket. Hope this helps.

SMITH F We bought the coat for a North Carolina climate. My wife has enjoyed the coat tremendously in the cold weather we have had. It seems to be a very good value for the money offering flexibility and seasonality.

LAUREN H I bought this for my fiance as a fall/ spring coat but here we are in February and its the only thing he still wears. If you are outside for a LONG time, it probably won't cut it but runing to & from the car etc it was warmer than he expected it to be!
