Yes. Bought this for my fiance. She's about 5' 6", 125 lbs., she can comfortably wrap it around her neck once adn still have a little to tuck in. However, it's not very long so it won't wear the same as a adult scarf for someone much taller or heavier. Most scarfs today go to someone's waist with the scarf hanging around the back of the neck. On a short person this comes to about mid chest, slightly below. Hope that helps.

I gave it as a gift a couple of years ago so I am not sure. i think it was shorter in length than a women's scarf.

I believe the width and length are different. The girls is a little more narrow and shorter then the womens.
