I had a North Face Sleeping bag since 1994 until it was actually stolen. Despite losing some of its loft and warmth over the years, that sleeping bag kept me warm on backpacking adventures throughout the mountains of Montana and rivers of Alaska, Montana and Idaho. When I looked for a replacement, I settled on the Blue Kazoo as the most similar bag to my previous one. Already, I have used it on camping/hunting trips and it is the perfect three season bag. Lightweight, comfortable, durable and... warm. I do very little winter camping and if I do, I am usually in some sort of cabin or yurt shelter. So, even on those subzero nights in a yurt back in the mountains in winter, this bag keeps me warm. That is its only limit though.
The North Face Blue Kazoo 15F Down Sleeping Bag The North Face Blue Kazoo 15F Down Sleeping Bag makes camping a wonderful, hassle-free experience, all year round. Its durable ripstop nylon shell is highly resistant to water and tearing. Your bag is insulated with 650+ fill down, for exceptional warmth on all your trips. A vaulted footbox provides additional room for your feet, so that they are not cramped. There is a glow-in-the-dark pull loop on the zipper to help you get in and out of your bag in the dark. Internal draft-tube pockets are handy to store all your essential gear nearby, for easy access. It has an included lightweight compression sack, which can be used to neatly pack your bag and carry it around. For a refreshing night's sleep, try The North Face Blue Kazoo 15F Down Sleeping Bag.

I am right handed, which side zipper do you recommend ?

right hand

I am also right handed. I found the left hand zipper easy to use with my right hand, since I was reaching across to the left, thus, the range of motion was greater than it would have been if I was trying to operate the zipper with my left hand.

I believe it is more about which side of the sleeping bag do you prefer to enter and exit - I also sleep mostly on my right shoulder so I bought a bag with a zip on that side. The zip is easy to use either side. This bag is an amazing product - I used it for 3 months throughout the Western USA, August to November and from sea level to 13000 ft and down to below sea level in Death Valley - I highly recommend the Blue Kazoo.
