-You don't get that cold at 35 degrees
-You are a minimalist and want something lightweight
-You want something that can be compressed in to a large hiking bag,
-You plan on taking this on your motorcycle
-You want this for casual summer, early fall climates
-You like/trust/believe in North face

I was impressed with this pack considering how cheap it was. You really can't get a lighter pack at 2.6 pounds without spending a lot more money. I am 5'11" 250 pounds and the long version fits perfect with room to spare. Can't beat the extra room that only adds 4 ounces from the regular. Def pick this bag up! Great deal.
