Shopper Is this jacket a winter jacket for 10 degrees or less?
TRAVIS P It is surprisingly well insulated; I would say yes with the caveat that you must the tearing so
something warm underneath it, which you'll probabally be wearing in ten degrees. I honestly love this coat.
AVA G I bought this jacket and the rain jacket for my boyfriend last Christmas. He said it kept him warm throughout the entire winter last year. (Ohio winter) he also mentioned the hat and gloves complete the package to staying completely warm.
MICHAEL T This is a very warm winter jacket. Wore it all last year in Michigan where it gets very chilly.
PEGGY W My son wears this jacket all winter at college in Wisconsin...he also wore it in Colorado snowboarding last winter. He said it it warm. We were disappointed though that the zippers on both pockets broke within the first season of wear. WE had to take it to a alterations person to replace the zippers. I wouldn't expect that from a $200 jacket.
TONY C This is a nice medium protection jacket. While being nicely padded and lightweight. I would probably recommend this for no less than 35 degree weather. North Face does have coats that are better suited for 10 degree or less weather.
KEVIN L I live in Manitoba Canada where it gets to -30c/ -22F for weeks on end, and this is my main winter Jacket. It keeps Me warm like the bigger bulky jackets, but its super light and compact! Highly reccomended!
TAMMY R We do not have temperatures 10 degrees or less in our area, but according to the research I did prior to purchasing, it should hold heat inside during those temperatures. My son wears this coat in temps down to the 20's and he has stated that he was toasty warm.
JOYCE B its a northface so it will keep the windy cold away but there isn't a lot of insulation inside. there is a insulated layer inside the shell but i don't think its enough for less than 10 degrees. this coat is more like walking around chicago or nyc street and you won't feel the cold.
