B P Yes if you buy it a little large and wear a hoodie or something warm under it. I live in Colorado and wear this year round.

DENISE R Well,this is a great jacket. I got one sz up so I could layer with it. I don't pay attention to what degree it is. I stand out in the morning cold here in the mtns. Of southwest Va. At an elementary school and help little kids out of their cars at 7 am. If I'm cold I put my fleece north face on under my apex! Just depends on the wind,sun, etc. I got an extra large even though I wear a large so I could layer under the apex. It is very comfortable,looks great and neat on even though it's a little large when I don't layer. I can wear it nearly year round here, chilly mornings,chilly nights. I go to goose down here for the few days it goes under 30 degrees. Even when you layer under it,it's real comfortable and form fitting.excellent jacket. I think it works in 30 degree weather.
MARIE B It does serve as a good wind breaker, not sure about how warm it will keep you in 30 degree weather. I bought for my daughter who lives in Nasville, she wears it frequently to and from work over scrubs.
THUY N If you don't want to layer, be sure u've got a thicker top on, something like a sweater or sweatshirt. Otherwise, that would still be too cold for me! But otherwise, I LOVE my jacket!!!!

SUSI N Actually I would say no. But I have a low tolerance for the cold. If you don't and can layer this jacket with a sweater then you may be able to because this jacket is definately wind proof.

Shopper How thick is this jacket? I'm looking for something that will pack into a small suitcase and not take up much room.
JANE N It is relatively light. I usually wear it when it is between 50 - 65 degrees outside. I don't think it will take up took much room in a suitcase. It's a GREAT jacket.
EMILY S The jacket will fit in small suitcase. It is not heavy weight.
CHERYL D The fabric is pretty thin - typical softshell. I think it would easily fit in a small suitcase. The fabric is pretty stiff until you wash it several times but it washes beautifully. My daughter loves this jacket - it's true to size and she has a pretty turquoise blue color.

JENNIFER J My wife is about 5'7" and weighs about 125lbs is a 36c and i got her a med. and our daughter is about the size has a small. I would recommend a small for you. We are going to get our other daughter who is 4'9" 98lbs and a 32a an extra small jacket.. hope that helps some
KAREN M My daughter ordered this jacket she is 5'6" 34a wears a medium shirt and she ordered a medium, she doesn't like things tight. You are smaller than her so I would suggest a small.

I love this jacket.
I am 5'6" 150lbs 36B and a medium fits snug.
My boyfriend always complains and he thinks I always order a size too small.
But personally you sound like a small.
When I ordered this last year this site seemed to be the cheapest with the best variety.

JUDY T I order a medium because I am afraid that sm will be too tight. The medium is a little roomy. I live in New York so I may need to put another layer under the jacket. If you are going to wear the jacket with just a t-shirt, I definitely will recommend the small because it makes the body look slimmer
