This jacket is the C771 it should be the same jacket you have. However, there IS a new Apex 2 jacket that is out and that one has been altered/updated.

It has a thin lining in it, but its wind proof so it's good for all year here in Minnesota!!

Not by itself. This is best as a top waterproof layer with either a sweatshirt, vest or 100g 1/4 zip fleece top or waffle Henley. But if there is a slight breeze and it's say 55 degrees you'd probably be fine with a long sleeve t-shirt. This is a very versatile jacket and a great addition to anyone's wardrobe. Especially if you live in the North East!!!
