Love the WhisperLite Universal. I prefer carrying this over my WindBurner in the colder temperatures. All on a personal preference out of fear than anything actually happening.

Excellent stove! MSR has done it again :-) I love the fact that this stove is compatible with both fuel types. I can use the butane canisters for quick, easy fire up meals car camping. But when it is cold or I am on a longer extended backcountry trip the white gas option is best for me! Thanks MSR :-)

You can use white gas, kerosene, MSR IsoPro with this burner, I do not believe you can
use regular gasoline and unleaded gasoline.

does not come with a canister or fuel bottle a liquid gas canister will run you any where from 12 to 20 dollars i suggest buying a small and large one white gas is 6 dollars and will last quite awhile
