So close to the only solo pot/mug/bowl you could ever need

I've had this for close to 10 years now & I still almost always use it if I am out solo or canoe camping where you can bring a handful of 'extras'. The spout pours very well for 'just enough' at a time temperamental fancy pour-over coffee, its big enough to cook a solo backpacking meal & use as a bowl, it cools fast & is shockingly durable for something so thin & small. The lid fits wonderfully tight without the need for threading or heavy molded plastic or silicon gaskets. It's volumetric ra...tio is extremely efficient & still fits fine on teensy ultralight canister stoves or alcohol stoves without ever feeling unstable. Even after years of regular use in every condition imaginable, it has not warped in the least, just developed a beautiful custom patina. It never holds odor or taste & cleans quickly & easily. The very few downsides are extremely minor, but tiny changes would make this the most unbeatable solo cook pot available. I would 100% buy this again AND pay extra for these two changes: 1. 1/3"-1/2" taller would add *just* enough extra volume/height to easily fit a mid-size 227g fuel canister, plus a small stove. As it is now, the width is fine, but there is only enough height to accommodate the small 110g can + stove & still allow the lid to seal. I typically bring a separate mug, so the fuel lives elsewhere in my pack. 2. Stamped volume markers? I know this is probably out of the question as it I have no doubt its very expensive to modify titanium molds, but it would really add a lot of value/ease-of-use to this pot. The only other gripe (again, minor & an issue with all titanium cookware w/folding grips) is that the handles get insanely hot while this is on the stove. I easily solved this by fashioning a wrap around the handles out of moldable silicone glue (probably not kosher to mention another company by name in a review, but just google it) & it worked perfectly without adding any significant amount of weight. But overall, hats off to the design & fabrication team as this stands out as a perfect example of elegant, marvelously functional minimalist equipment built to take a beating and outlast it all.

Great piece. Sorry I didn't buy one in the 90s and wish it hadn't been discontinued.
