Meticulous design and functionality; Must have.

Bought this for my MSR lightening ascent snowshoes and tails. Fits both snowshoes and tails with precision. Love how durable the bag is and all the design features. I initially bought a less expensive second-line brand (MEC) for snowshoes but found that the built quality and design was majorly inferior to this MSR snowshoe bag.

The snow tote is an attractive and convenient way to package the MSR line of snowshoes. I've never carried the tote as a hiking or mountaineering container, but always transport and store the snowshoes in it. Snowshoes, typically used in mountaineering, should be lashed to your backpack's exterior daisy chain or cinch devices for easy and ready access. You won't need the tote for that. The MSR Snowshoe bag is a must have for anyone who spends a lot of time trekking though the snow and needs a convenient way to carry their snowshoes, when not in use. This excellent bag comes from long-lasting ripstop nylon that ensures many uses, without any rips or tares. The mesh covering is also great for ventilation. This means that you do not have to worry about mold build up, or any other problems from moisture. For added convenience the bag features an adjustable shoulder strap and carry handle, so you can customize it for easy carrying during travel. It also has an internal pocket that is use for storing flotation tails or anything else you need to carry. It also has external snowshoe pole attachments, so you can easily carry everything you need with you on your trip. TERENCE C I purchased the MSR bag for my wife’s 22” snowshoes n my 26” snowshoes. I also purchased an ATLAS 30” bag for my 30” shoes. The MSR bag will NOT accommodate ur 30” snowshoes. BTW all great deals.

Todd A No, it does not fit 30 inch snowshoes. I use it for my 24 inch MSR lighting ascents.
