Also got these for a MSR Zing. The options were this or the Kelty Adjustable poles, I think these are a little more money, and MSR usually doesnt go on sale too often. Build quality is good and on par with the Kelty Poles. Key differerence is that the Kelty has the adjustable portion of the pole on the bottom, the MSR poles are adjustable from the top. ALEXANDER H  It is 29" long and about 5" in diameter. Surprised how tall the polls are when fully extended.
