Shopper Do the doors screen areas, zip close?
MCKAY R The doors have both screen and solid areas which cannot be opened separately. The fly does extend to enclose a vestibule for each door and can be zipped shut to maximize privacy and wind protection.
MICHAEL N Slept great in the upper 40's in a Marmot Trestle 30F bag and the Limelight III, door zippers were flawless great tent easy setup and take down
highly recommend Marmot products
MICHAEL N I used the Limelight in the Vogel State Park north Georgia mountains this weekend temps in the upper 40's pretty chilly for a Floridian where lows were in the 70's just 7 hours earlier, sleeping in a Marmot Trestle 30F slept like I was at home (except for a barking dog @ 3:00 am probably a bear)
Door zippers worked flawlessly set up in a few minutes. I highly recommend any Marmot products awesome quality, function and comfort. Happy camping!
NICOLE H yes both zip close.
PAUL C The door screens zips on both sides....
DANTONG H Yes,very convenience.
NORA N I'm sorry but I don't understand your question! I can tell you that the way the door zips and unzips you end up with a pile of "door" getting in and out. It would have been a better design if it had two zippers and zipped from the bottom to the top so the entry access was side to side and not top to bottom. Other than that, no other complaints.
STEVE M No the screened areas are always open. Good for true ventilation.
DANIEL L Obviously, yes. This is a very good tent!
WILLIAM G The included rain fly covers all the screened areas. There are no flaps built into the tent itself to cover the screened areas. The rain fly is excellent even in high winds. I was camped on a grassy hill for three nights of storms. One night we had tornado warnings and winds gusting to 45mph. No much sleep but I stayed dry and no damage to the tent.
LEE I The tent proper closes up completely. The rain fly "doors" close but the bottom all around is open to allow air flow. I've only used this tent on one trip so far but really like it. Easy to set up -- 5 minutes once you've done it once.
KARI C If you are asking about the rain fly and if they zip closed, yes, they do. The doors on the main part of the tent zip closed also...
JAMES D The doors protecting the entrances on the front and back of the tent each consist of a waterproof nylon material and a screen material. The nylon on the door is connected to the screen material on the door and there is no zipper in between them.
The doors zip shut along the top where the screen portion of the door meets the tent.
The doors can be rolled like a sleeping bag and fastened to the tent to help airflow. This is one of my favorite design elements of this fabulous tent.
5-star tent in my opinion. It's a suitable size for two campers, not 3.
VALETTA F The tent has two doors, both doors have a arched shaped zipper for opening and closing. Makes for easy access to the vestibule areas when then rain fly is attached or exiting the tent.
JASON R Your question is a bit ambiguous...
The fly (the rain-blocking piece that you attach over the tent) has two zippered entrances, which can rolled open or zipped and staked closed.
The screen doors of the tent itself have two zippers, meaning you can leave them together at the place along the zipper you prefer. This means there is no opening for bugs.
Note that the plastic window in the fly that allows light in also allows you to see out and others to see in.
