This is a must buy!

This tent is everything you could want and more. Great air flow, WATERPROOF!!!! and stands up to 50+ winds! It poured so hard we could not see 150 yards across the lake for nearly 3 hours, twice that day. The wind just hammered us and we were dry and comfortable. Zippers, floors and the fly did the job they were designed to do. Our friends in the department store tents were not as fortunate. Our Marmot tent took a beating and they never dryed out. [...]

 

Amazing tent

So far we have camped teice with our 3 year old son and only complaint is the footprint doesnt extend into vestibules. Other than that the tent is amazing. Incredibly built. Super east to put up. Tons of room. Thats what you want when teaching a child to tent camp. A positive experience is vital to help him or her build towards less and less room.

NANCY C  no. had to purchase separate footprint
JOSEPH C  No, but Marmot offers a footprint as an accessory.
DAVID V  No footprint, but the floor has proven to be extremely rugged through gravel, sticks and cactus. The zippers however...not so tough! Both are broken in our main doors. Sending back for repair....

DANIEL D  It does not come with a footprint, but Marmot makes one for this model which I purchased as well. I also always throw a cheap regular tarp on the ground under my tents and footprint for added protection. I do love this tent!!!

BRENT M  I love the tent I have used it for family scout camps and it has worked great. It is hard to put up by yourself my son is in cub scouts so he is not tall enough to help put on the rain fly since this is a tall tent. we also had it up in the back yard when a huge windy storm came through and it survived when most tents would have been destroyed. I was truly amazed that after that storm it was still dry inside. This tent is perfect for family car camping a little big and heavy for hiking camping.
JW J  Thank you. I plan on car camping near the ocean in Northern California which can be windy. I have young son and daughter so it seems like a good tent.

JW J  Thank you. Did you add any other accessories such as a canvas floor or hanging loft?
MICHAEL E  Not the floor i usually camp with my wife and two dogs . I just bought a tarp at walmart and put that down in floor with two cots on either side with dogs on floor in middle. Still have room to move around very big tons of storage i did purchase the squirrel cage for top of tent its a nice assecories i put my lantern in it .

ELLA K  I'm sorry, I don't know how tall this tent is but my husband, who is 5'8", can easily stand up with plenty of room to spare. If anything, it's a bit too tall for our family as we have to throw the rain cover on top because we can't reach the top.
NANCY C  Hi, Chris; I don't have the exact specs, though I'm sure you'll find them on the mfg website. But, my husband is just shy of 6' and I'm 5' 1". We had no problems whatsoever. The center was of course very high and the edges are great because the slope is not steep. My husband hates anything claustrophobic (unless he's backpacking it). So this tent was perfect. No complaints at all. Nancy C
RALPH M  Yes, easily. Other than for stooping to pass through the door(s), you can stand and move around comfortably.

ROBERT H  I am 6'1" and can stand up just about anywhere in the tent. With pleanty of room to spare. I think its 80" at the tallest part. Its a fantastic tent. Its great because I've had back surgery and have a hard time with most tents bending over all the time. So glad I got this tent.
RICHARD S  I am about 5 ft, 10 in. I can stand up in this tent not only in the center, but also in the corners. I would say the center is about 7 feet.
AMY P  My husband is 6ft tall and he can stand up in the center area of the tent. It's an awesome design! We have twin toddlers and can fit two pack and play cribs along with our sleep pads in it.
